It starts with an invigorating warm up, stimulating specific points of the body while improving blood circulation, either manually or with the “cupping” technique (which is a personal preference & decided on by the client) The Majority of the work is done manually and is perfect for aligning and exalting your curves.
How long does a drainage typically take?
50 minutes of hands on drainage for the body and 25 minutes for the face.
Are there any requirements or pre-requisites to take the class?
We don’t require prior experience to take our class. In many U.S. states, lymphatic work is classified under body contouring or wellness services and often does not require a drainage license. Regulations vary by state and country, so it is each student’s responsibility to verify local laws and licensing requirements before offering services professionally.
Is the drainage painful?
Not at all. Clients should feel a bit of discomfort in areas that are swollen but typically speaking, there is no pain.
Is the drainage safe?
Yes, if it is performed with a certified professional using the appropriate technique(s)
How long does it take to get my certification by Josie Rushing?
You can become certified in just one day. It will ultimately depend upon your schedule and your availability to complete all of the courses.
Do you guys offer CE hours?
